This Week on FEDtalk: Bringing in the Next Generation of Feds
Millennials are the largest, most diverse generation the country has ever seen, yet less than seven percent of all federal employees are Millennials (born after 1980). A slow hiring process and a series of poorly executed internship programs may contribute to the lack of interest from Millennials.
Here to discuss this phenomenon are Christine Burke and Emily Jarvis from GovLoop, as well as Michelle Rosa from Young Government Leaders, who will join hosts Tony Vergnetti of FEDS Protection and Nikki Cannon of Shaw Bransford and Roth on FEDtalk this week.
The radio show airs Friday, June 17, at 11:00 a.m. ET. On Friday, stream online at Federal News Radio, or tune in to 1500 AM in the Washington, DC area.
