Leading with Resilience in a VUCA World, Session 2

Join SEA, the Federal Managers Association (FMA) and Resilient at Work for the second in a free webinar series on mindfulness and resilience - especially critical skills in our current challenging environment.

Please join us for Session 2: Leading With Resilience In A VUCA World, when we'll explore what an "emotional constellation" and mindfulness have to do with cultivating a more resilient stance in a volatile and uncertain world.  We had a great turnout at our first session and hope even more of you can make the second one.  Don't worry if you didn't make the first one, we'll catch you up.

The pandemic is the ultimate VUCA environment. Leading yourself and others through it resiliently is crucial. Yet, VUCA times are not limited to the current crisis. Reorganizations, mission changes, budget lapses, disruptors, and layoffs, are also characteristic of VUCA conditions.

In this lunch time series, we’ll examine what it means to be resilient during difficult times and how to cultivate this essential capacity, using a mindfulness-based approach. We invite you to join your peers in strengthening this critical, evergreen skill so you can stand in a VUCA world with greater mindfulness, confidence, strength and compassion.

The next session is Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 12:00 PM.

About the Session:

  • Brief 20-minute sessions let you consider an aspect of resilience, engage in hands-on practice, then get back to work.

  • Sessions consist of teaching, engaged mindfulness practices, and Q&A.

  • The series will occur each Wednesday for the next 4 weeks. Participants may come to each session or join us for one session.
