Recognizing Public Servants For Their Dedication During 2020

The Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies (WAEPA) is a proud sponsor of the  2021 Unsung Heroes of Federal Service Awards, hosted by The Alex Tremble Show to celebrate Public Service Appreciation Week. These awards recognize deserving Federal Government employees for their creativity and dedication for serving the larger public and those in their local community.

There are four categories from which to nominate a fellow Federal employee:

  • TEAM HERO – Suggested, created or contributed to an innovative solution to help team members adjust to telework.

  • WHOLE-HEALTH HERO – Triumphed in implementing self-care to balance life, work, and the social/emotional challenges of 2020.

  • CUSTOMER-CENTERED HERO – Suggested or championed process and/or service improvements to respond to customers’ changing needs.

  • BOUNCE BACK (RESILIENT) HERO – Demonstrated resilience and positivity while recovering from a setback in 2020.
