Federal Employees Work Satisfaction Continues to Decline
Federal employees were overall less satisfied and less engaged in their jobs last year, according to the 2021 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) results released last week.
OPM Announces FEVS 2021 Issue Dates as the GLDS Deadline Approaches
On October 13, 2021, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) released a memo extending the opportunity of eligible federal employees to respond to the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS). OPM administers the survey in two waves: the first on November 1 and second on November 8, each with a five week response window.
OPM Announces 2020 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey to Begin in July
In a memo to agency leaders, OPM Acting Director Michael Rigas announced the 2020 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (OPM FEVS) will begin on July 13, 2020. The survey rollout was delayed earlier in the spring as agencies were focusing on mission critical work during the coronavirus response. Rigas also announced several changes to the survey.
