MEDIA RELEASE: National Academy of Public Administration Announces 2024 Class of Academy Fellows

The National Academy of Public Administration today announced that 42 leaders in the field of public administration have been selected for the 2024 Class of Academy Fellows.

“The 2024 class of Academy Fellows reflects a wide range of professional experience, including dedicated civil servants and accomplished academics,” said Terry Gerton, President and CEO of the Academy. “These 42 leaders will be an enormous asset to the Academy in the years ahead, and we look forward to working with all of them to help create a bright future for our country.”

Induction of the new Fellows will occur during the annual Academy Fall Meeting, which will take place November 13-15 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Selection of the Academy’s new Fellows follows a rigorous review of the individual’s contributions to the field of public administration and policy. A Fellows Nominating Committee makes recommendations to the full Fellowship, which then votes on those individuals nominated. The Committee was co-chaired in 2024 by Academy Fellows Margie Graves and Naim Kapucu.

The 2024 class joins nearly 1,000 current Academy Fellows – including former cabinet officers, members of Congress, governors, mayors and state legislators, as well as prominent scholars, executives, nonprofit leaders, and more.
